It died 13 months later and I've left it sitting in a drawer knowing its cheaper to buy a new one than send it for repair. I gave it a good thump off my 5 year old's 200 page colouring book last night and, hey presto, its back up and running ! Thanks for the tip ! There are so many great testimonials I think it is safe to recommend this tool. It sounds like the iPod is on borrowed time.
